Make More Noise is a BFI film featuring the suffragettes in silent movies, with a specially commissioned score composed by Lillian Henley. At this one-off screening, Lillian will be playing live accompaniment.
This will be preceded by a series of shorts made by pupils from a number of Kent schools.
The afternoon will conclude with a post- screening discussion featuring Corinna Downing, writer and BFI consultant; Lila Allen, documentary film- maker and Lillian Henley, composer.
